The Department of Foreign Employment (DOFE), Nepal, has announced a new provision for
Automated Re-Entry Labour Approval (Re-entry) to make foreign employment safer,
more dignified, and better managed for Nepali workers returning to the same employer and country.
The system allows eligible workers to receive labour approval automatically through the online system
after fulfilling the required conditions.

As part of the 100-point governance reform program approved by the meeting of the Council of Ministers
on 2082/12/13 BS and under the 10 action plans of the Ministry of Youth, Labour and Employment related
to making foreign employment safe, dignified and systematic, the Government of Nepal has decided to make
the Re-entry Labour Approval process fully automated.
Accordingly, Nepali workers who have previously obtained labour approval and are applying for
re-entry labour approval for the same country and the same company will receive labour approval
through an automated system if they fulfill the prescribed conditions.
This arrangement has been implemented according to the Government of Nepal (Council of Ministers)
decision dated 2083/02/03 BS.
Applicants must comply with the conditions mentioned below while applying for re-entry labour approval.
If incorrect information is entered into the FEIMS system or required documents are not properly submitted,
the applicant will be personally responsible and liable for any issues arising in the labour approval process.
Conditions for Automated Re-Entry Labour Approval
- The applicant must be applying for re-entry labour approval for the same country and the same company for which labour approval was previously obtained.
- The passport must have at least 3 months of validity remaining.
- The visa must be valid.
- A company contract agreement must have been completed.
- Required contributions must have been deposited in the Social Security Fund.
- Required contributions must have been deposited in the Foreign Employment Welfare Fund.
- Mandatory term life insurance must have been completed.
- The self-declaration available in the Foreign Employment Information Management System (FEIMS) regarding visa validity and contract agreement must be completed.

पुनः श्रम स्वीकृतिको लागि आवेदन गर्दा देहायको शर्तहरू पालना गर्नुपर्नेछ। FEIMS प्रणालीमा
विवरण गलत भरी वा तोकिएको कागजात पेश नगरी पुनः श्रम स्वीकृति (Re-entry) आवेदन गर्दा श्रम
स्वीकृतिमा कुनै त्रुटि भएमा सेवाग्राही स्वयंले जिम्मेवारी तथा दायित्व बहन गर्नुपर्ने
व्यहोरा समेत सबैको जानकारीको लागि अनुरोध छ।
स्वचालित पुनः श्रम स्वीकृति (Automated Re-entry) का शर्तहरू
- श्रम स्वीकृति आवेदन गर्दा यस अघि श्रम स्वीकृति प्राप्त गरेको देश तथा कम्पनीको लागि पुनः श्रम स्वीकृति आवेदन गरेको हुनुपर्ने।
- कम्तीमा ३ महिना अवधि भएको राहदानी हुनुपर्ने।
- भिसा वैध (Valid Visa) हुनुपर्ने।
- कम्पनीसँग करार सम्झौता गरेको हुनुपर्ने।
- सामाजिक सुरक्षा कोषमा रकम जम्मा गरेको हुनुपर्ने।
- वैदेशिक रोजगार कल्याणकारी कोषमा रकम जम्मा गरेको हुनुपर्ने।
- आवधिक जीवन बिमा गरेको हुनुपर्ने।
- वैध भिसा तथा करार सम्झौता लगायतको विषयमा वैदेशिक रोजगार सूचना व्यवस्थापन प्रणाली (FEIMS) मा रहेको स्वःघोषणा गर्नुपर्ने।
