Kosovo, officially the Republic of Kosovo, is a landlocked country in Southeast Europe located in the central Balkans. It shares borders with Serbia to the north and east, Montenegro to the northwest, Albania to the west, and North Macedonia to the south.
Kosovo covers an area of approximately 10,887 square kilometres and has a population of around 1.7 million people. The country has a young population and a rich cultural heritage influenced by Albanian, Serbian, Ottoman, and Balkan traditions.
